Dynamics NAV 2018 has arrived – and it’s packed with new features

Dynamics NAV 2018 features many updates, improvements and enhancements as well as deeper Microsoft Office integration. Here we’ll take a closer look at some of these exciting changes.

Closer integration with other Microsoft and third-party products

Microsoft has added deeper integration between Dynamics NAV 2018 and other Microsoft products, such as Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power Bi, Power Apps and Flow – as well as closer integration between other third-party applications and services.

With improvements to Office 365 integration, you can now receive reminders and interactions from Microsoft Outlook.

AI integration with Microsoft Cognitive services

Advanced algorithms allow users to incorporate artificial intelligence into Dynamics NAV. Speech recognition, language recognition and even facial recognition can all be incorporated in your HR workflows, while product recognition can automate the categorisation of your products.

New extensibility model
