We’re thrilled to announce that our local football club, NC United, sponsored by etaC Solutions has been shortlisted for Club of the Year in the Shropshire FA Awards.
NC United FC is a community football club based at their ground in Tolkien Way, Wellington, Telford, and we’ve been their club sponsor since 2023. The club currently has two football pitches and a pavilion which contains club offices, changing rooms for players and officials, a kitchen, and a meeting/function room.
The Shropshire FA Awards are taking place on Friday, 13th September, and is a celebration of teams, coaches, and players in Shropshire and how they contribute to making football a better place. Inclusive of improving the playing experience, creating positive spaces, overcoming obstacles, and uniting people of any age, ethnicity, or background in the local community.
Being shortlisted as Club of the Year is a massive recognition of everything the club has accomplished in the last year. Having recently launched an additional two adult teams, the First Team and the Development Team, NC United is increasing its presence in the community and allowing more opportunities for people to join.
We’re excited to attend the awards ceremony on Friday, 13th September, and we’ve got everything crossed that the team comes home with some silverware!
